AUCKLAND, Monday: The mystery Herald backroom maestro who assembled the weekend’s striking Cirque du Soleil/Rod Emmerson DPS has stepped forward to take the kudos he deserves.

He is NZME media specialist Hamish Mullan, working alongside the NZME print commercial team headed by GM Chris Rudd.

“It was a piece of creative genius from Hamish,” Rudd told M+AD. “Thank you for commending the feature in the Weekend Herald,”

“We are committed to pushing the boundaries of print concept and creative, and thrilled Cirque du Soleil were on board to create something so visually appealing; a concept that is on-brand for the client but also demonstrates our capability to think outside the box.

“Print remains a creative environment and our clients continue to see the value in print. It is a unique landscape where the commercial team can work closely with editorial to produce boundary-pushing concepts that deliver results.”
