Sydney-based Kiwi editor Andrew Holmes has won a number of gongs at the top global advertising award shows this year (all duly covered in M+AD) and has sent us the photo he promised after his latest win – a Bronze for Best Editing at the London International Awards.
“I finally got round to getting my photo taken,” writes Holmes, who currently works at Heckler in Sydney.
“2016 has been a phenomenal year. I have been lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work with some of the most talented directors working today, whose approach to crafting every film they work on is nothing short of inspiring.
“I am honoured and humbled that my contribution to these directors’ work has resulted in three international film editing awards, including the One Show New York, the London International Awards, and the Sharks Awards Kinsale.
“Being acknowledged and rewarded for something that I am so passionate about is the icing on the cake. I am truly grateful to be able to work alongside such talented individuals that challenge and inspire me.”
