AUCKLAND, Today: LUMO has officially activated two eagerly awaited digital billboards on Auckland’s Albany Expressway, moving its premium digital out-of-home (DOOH) network closer to the impressive 70-site goal.

LUMO-Albany Expressway In grabs attention from commuters heading toward State Highway 1 or into commercial zones like Rosedale and Pinehill, providing excellent exposure for brands looking to connect with busy professionals and shoppers.

On the other side, LUMO-Albany Expressway Out draws the focus of over 40,000 outbound commuters each day, including those traveling north to areas such as Red Beach, Silverdale, and Orewa. Its prime positioning near the Tawa and Greville Road intersection and the SH1 Exit 417 offramp makes it a valuable asset for advertisers.

With LUMO’s enhanced LENS Analytics system, these locations are already showing impressive postcode reach in areas like Albany Heights, Browns Bay, and Gulf Harbour. The screens also index highly with key lifestyle segments, including Big Box Brand Shoppers and Business Travellers, attracting a significant number of affluent 25-54-year-olds.

Phil Clemas, LUMO’s Co-Founder & CEO, said, “One of the biggest advantages of building a digital billboard business from the ground up is the ability to carefully select prime locations.

“This latest addition exemplifies that strategy. Combine these locations with premium, intelligent digital OOH technology, and you have two new screens that will be an instant hit with advertisers.”

With only three months left in 2024, LUMO’s network in New Zealand is set for further expansion, with plans to launch several iconic sites in Auckland and Christchurch by year’s end.
