Marketing Association ties knot with Google

AUCKLAND, Today: The Marketing Association of New Zealand and Google have formed a new partnership “to support New Zealand marketers and the marketing profession”.

NZMA ceo Tony Mitchell said: “The MA has been working with Google on a solution to provide educational services for marketers for and we are now delighted to announce this new partnership.

“It reflects Google’s desire to support marketers in New Zealand and that partnering with the Marketing Association is key to this.”


“Having moved to Google from a career in marketing I am passionate about search and digital tools.”


The agreement sees Google support the marketing profession in the following areas:

  • Maximising search and digital tools for brands and businesses
  • Sharing content, case studies and examples of marketing genius with the MA membership
  • Educational workshops for marketers
  • World class speakers at MA events and conferences
  • Championing marketing brilliance through the support of the Marketing Association Direct Marketing Awards

Auckland-based Google NZ country manager Caroline Rainsford said: “Having moved to Google from a career in marketing I am passionate about what search and digital tools can do for marketers.

“I see significant potential for NZ marketers to improve the understanding and connection with their customers both in NZ and overseas.”
