We receive many offshore requests for sponsored posts on our site. Few (none, actually) have come to anything – mainly because we ask astronomical prices.
“We quoted them US$10k!”
Mostly, they’re vaguely related the ad world, but completely self-serving and unsuitable for a New Zealand readership.
The latest request (in last night) came from somewhere in the Northern Hemisphere – but what really caught our attention was its headline: Advertorial query for mad-cow.org.
We quoted them US$10,000!
