The NZ Marketing Association has appointed business consultant Tony Mitchell as its new chief executive, filling the role left vacant by the departure of Gill Stewart in May.
Mitchell has been acting ceo since Stewart exited. Until April, he worked at analytics consultancy Datamine.
For the past two years, he contributed to the strategic direction of the association over the last two year as a member of the Data and Strategic Marketing Committees, and more recently as an elected board member.
Mitchell also chairs the board at Cycling New Zealand and sisas vice president of the Oceania Cycling Confederation.
