Media welcome for Dylan’s Nobel win

Bob Dylan has won his ultimate accolade – the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature. The announcement came from the Swedish Academy at mid-morning NZ time today.

Dylan, 75, was cited by the Nobel judges at the Swedish Academy for “having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition”.
