AUCKLAND, Today: MediaWorks has enhanced its Agency Sales team with the addition of Emma Shearer and Antonia Borich, and the internal promotion of Luke Farmer. Shearer will begin her role as Group Head – Agency Sales in April, bringing extensive leadership experience from her current position as Group Sales Manager at JCDecaux.
Borich is set to join as Account Director, focusing on Outdoor advertising, after nearly five years at JCDecaux in Auckland, specialising in out-of-home advertising.
MediaWorks CEO Outdoor, Mike Watkins, commended the new hires, stating, “both Emma and Antonia are not only brilliant media sales people, they are also superb individuals. They will be joining an extremely professional and high achieving sales team, and culturally will be a superb fit. It’s an exciting time to be at MediaWorks as we continue to deliver for clients through our outstanding product offers, and more importantly through our people.”

Farmer’s elevation to GM Client Solutions utilises his two decades of experience in the creative industry to spearhead innovation and creative thinking across MediaWorks’ assets. He will work alongside Sarah Jones and Amber Conroy in the Agency Leadership team, each bringing over 20 years of industry experience.
CEO Wendy Palmer highlighted the customer-focused rationale for these changes, saying, “Luke’s stellar experience developing creative solutions for some of New Zealand’s biggest brands will now be unleashed to help our customers stand out from the crowd. Bringing in more specialised outdoor sales talent will also help our customers identify opportunities to reach their audiences wherever they are.”
These strategic moves underline MediaWorks’ commitment to delivering exceptional service and innovation, aiming to enhance client solutions and solidify its market presence.
