MediaWorks has today announced it has concluded negotiations with Rachel Glucina for the purchase of her interest in the joint venture partnership of the Scout brand.
In a brief, unsigned statement, MediaWorks says it is buying out Glucina’s share of the business and that she will be leaving MediaWorks to “take up a new opportunity” on completion of the sale.
MediaWorks proposes to focus its entertainment news into Newshub, and a consultation period is now underway with staff at Scout.
