AUCKLAND, Today: The World Out of Home Organization’s biggest Annual Congress yet is heading to Mexico City from June 4–6, with a stacked speaker list and a fresh new wave of interactivity.
This year’s event includes four themed breakout workshops, more chances for delegates to contribute, and the largest awards entry to date—plus a brand-new award for standout special builds.
For the first time, an extra speaker session will run on the afternoon of Friday, June 6—adding even more to the already packed programme.
So far, speakers include Sylvain Le Borgne, Global Chief Data Officer at JCDecaux, and Cathy O’Connor, CEO of Australia’s oOh!Media. Jeremy Male and Anna Bager will also appear.
More speakers will be announced next week, adding to the already diverse global line-up expected at this year’s event.
The breakout workshops will cover innovation in uncertain times, the rise of AI, progress in audience metrics, and the shifting role of automation and programmatic in the global space.
“OOH has successfully ridden the digital wave and Mexico City will help to equip us for the further challenges we face.” – Tom Goddard
Last year’s Hong Kong Congress was the first held in the APAC region and drew a record crowd. Mexico City is expected to go even bigger, with up to 600 delegates set to attend.
WOO President Tom Goddard says, “We are making the Annual Congress more interactive, with workshops and more opportunities for delegates to contribute from the floor and at other times during Congress.
“We already have a record number of entries for this year’s Global Awards, increasingly the industry standard for Out of Home creativity, and our speakers and panellists are uniquely qualified to guide industry professionals and others from the worlds of marketing and media through what is turning out to be a turbulent world economy.
“As ever, we’re confident that the OOH industry will adapt to and succeed in changing times. OOH has successfully ridden the digital wave and Mexico City will help to equip us for the further challenges we face.”
