AUCKLAND, Today: MOTAT has embraced its role as Aotearoa’s science and technology playground by celebrating 60 years: hands-on, minds-on discovery for everyone!

On Saturday 25 May, MOTAT launched the new Te Puawānanga Science and Technology Centre – a fresh way for the whole whānau to learn, see, hear, and play.

MOTAT’s creative agency, Contagion, led by Dean Taylor, shared: “We are so proud of our long-standing partnership with MOTAT. It’s such a gift for NZ. My kids and I have been avid return explorers.

“The new Te Puawānanga centre will unlock a whole new world of science and technology for them, and it’s exciting to think of how it can inspire them.”

Oliver Maisey, ECD of Contagion, added, “The new Te Puawānanga centre is such a good showcase of what MOTAT represents. It’s been a privilege to help MOTAT bring their promise of Science + Tech + Play to life.”

“Working with Contagion has been so rewarding. The approach to how we position the MOTAT brand and then our newest offer, Te Puawānanga, as a strong proof point to our brand promise has meant we are building our story and showing our audiences the distinctive value and relevance of this science and technology museum,” says Samantha Perry, Head of Brand and Communications at MOTAT.

Te Puawānanga has been an exciting campaign to work on, and the collaboration with Contagion has been a real highlight. From creative concept to media placement, I am delighted with the outcomes achieved,” says Rebecca Topp, Marketing Manager at MOTAT.
