As signalled by a flurry of photo ops of John Key cosying up to various All Blacks, the National Party has stayed with the sporting theme in their first TVC for the 2014 election.
Who shot the ad is a mystery, as National is declining to release its campaign partner details. Also systerious are the strange English-language captions that accompany each frame in the TVC.
Labour and the Greens have yet to launch their TV campaigns (watch this space).
A site worth keeping an eye on is www.electionads.org.nz, which lists mainly print ads for the 2014 campaign (also an archive dating back to the 1920s)
