AUCKLAND, Today: Momentum Group just announced Alex Kenny as Creative Director—beefing up the agency’s digital performance and creative smarts in a big way.

Kenny previously launched and scaled MediaWorks’ in-house department Passionfruit, and also held roles at Venia and Many Minds.

In this new gig, she’s leading Momentum’s push to blend sharp creative with platform-driven performance.

“Great creative has always been about strong storytelling, but today it’s also about adaptability across platforms,” said Kenny. “I’m thrilled to join a team that values creativity and data-driven innovation.”

A big focus for Momentum is helping creative work actually perform—especially within today’s tangled web of adtech and martech.

The agency works hand-in-hand with clients and creative shops to tweak and tailor assets for different platforms, so nothing gets wasted.

“Campaign success hinges on how effectively creativity and technology intersect,” said Violet Ellis, Head of Technology, Data & Performance. “Our approach ensures every asset performs by leveraging automation, dynamic elements, and platform-specific insights to drive ROI.”

Alex’s arrival adds more muscle to Momentum’s mission of fuelling client growth—and it follows a busy start to 2025 with senior hires and capability boosts already in the bag.

“Our clients and creative partners have expressed a need for more support in navigating digital platforms,” said Natalia Taylor, Founder & CEO. “Alex’s expertise will help amplify the impact of their work in this complex landscape.”
