AUCKLAND, Today: Nielsen has released its magazine and newspaper toplines for Q3 2019. Although many changes were recorded in both directions, most were minor – and both sectors look in good shape for 2020.
Rises included the NZ Listener, NZ Woman’s Weekly, TV Guide, Time, Mindfood, NZ Gardener, Nadia, NZ Rugby World, AA Directions, OHbaby, and Fashion Quarterly.
Small falls were recorded by North & South, Reader’s Digest, Rugby News, and Australian Women’s Weekly.
Newspapers steady
Nielsen’ Newspaper report painted a similar picture, with most titles (including the metros and the Sunday papers) either retaining their share, or recording insignifican falls.
