NZ scores a Grande Lotus brace at Adfest

NZ agencies picked up two very big awards – the Grande Integrated Lotus and the Grande Lotus for Mobile, plus a Gold and a handful of Bronzes– at Adfest Thailand over the weekend.

Colenso BBDO and its star client Pedigree again shared the honours, taking the Grand Integrated prize for Pedigree Child Replacement Programme, and the Mobile crown for Pedigree SelfieStix.

Colenso also took Gold in the Outdoor category for DB Beer Bottle Sand and two Bronze Awards in Promo for DB Beer Bottle Sand and another Bronze for Mainland 2000-Piece Voucher.

Clemenger BBDO Wellington won two Bronze Awards in Film Craft for New Zealand Human Rights Commission Give Nothing To Racism.

Integrated Lotus/Grand Jury president Joyce King Thomas (chairman and CCO of McCann XBC, New York) said: “The Pedigree work’s attention to detail was fantastic – the films were funny, the social media was smart; it had everything you want an integrated campaign to be.”

Entries submitted for Integrated Lotus Awards must work across at least three different media and take advantage of each medium’s strengths to enhance the core creative idea.

NZ and Colenso also had a presence in the jury ranks, where the Film & Radio Lotus president was chief creative officer Levi Slavin.
