WELLINGTON, Today: The New Zealand Gardens Trust has named Hamish Saxton as its new Chair. He brings deep tourism experience and currently heads up Tourism Hawke’s Bay as Chief Executive.
Saxton says, “Our internationally renowned gardens, set against Aotearoa New Zealand’s unique and varied landscapes, are a major attraction for international and domestic visitors. A garden tour enhances the itinerary of any trip”.
“I am very proud and excited to continue the stellar work of outgoing Chair Wendy Palmer, owner, and host at Welton House and Eliza’s Garden Cottage in Marlborough.
