BERN, SWITZERLAND, Monday: NZ PR Institute chair Fiona Cassidy has been elected to the executive committee of the Global Alliance for PR & Comms Management.
The confirmation of her appointment came on the same day the World Public Relations Forum scheduled for October in Auckland is postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Cassidy is a Life Member of PRINZ. Her first career was as a NZ Army officer – she served for 12 years and saw active service in the Middle East and Bougainville.
Her tribal affiliations are Ngati Kuri, Te Aupouri, and Te Rarawa.
New date ‘soon’
PRINZ ceo Elaine Koller says they now plan to reschedule the NZ forum – a new date and location will be announced in coming weeks.
