Restaurant Hub has partnered with Eveve software to develop a streamlined booking system for restaurants throughout New Zealand. It directly connects customers to New Zealand’s largest restaurant booking and marketing network, allowing them to make instantly confirmed reservations.
Restauranthub.co.nz is an eCommerce booking platform. The site creates a one-stop destination for customers to look at menus, see reviews and then book a table. There is no listing fee. Restaurants pay a small booking fee only when the customer books and dines at the restaurant.
The site uses Eveve software, pulling together dining options and deals the consumer can view, compare and book all in one place. It is a similar concept to existing flight and hotel-booking sites such as Webjet and Trivago, so many customers will be familiar with the process, a statement from Restaurant Hub said.
There are currently no direct competitors in New Zealand, with no other business-to-consumer sites with the breadth of restaurants being directly bookable.
