New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE) has put the cat among the pigeons by stepping outside of its home turf, and handing the tender for its $400,000 website redesign to Australian agency DT.
Datacom, DNA and Terabyte were all involved in the process, according to local website Stoppress.
Asked why NZTE decided to hand the business to Australian firm when its main purpose is to help New Zealand businesses, the communications team declined to comment, saying that the matter was still being finalised and that an official statement would only be made next week.
