Ogilvy wins $6m shoe retailer

Ogilvy has effectively confirmed rumours that the agency has won the $6 million Number One Shoes business without a pitch. “Unfortunately I’m not in a position to comment at this stage,” was all Ogilvy executive director Paul Manning was prepared to say when M+AD contacted him this morning.

But, as every good rumour-monger knows, a refusal to deny amounts to an absolute verification!

In previous years, Number One Shoes worked with Contagion, but more recently, has moved its marketing and communications back in-house.
