Ad-Vantage joins national body

AUCKLAND, Thursday: The Outdoor Media Association NZ has revealed that Ad-Vantage Media will be joining oOh!Media, QMS, JCDecaux and Media5 as a display member of OMANZ, effective immediately.

OMANZ chairman Nick Vile said: “2019/2020 is going to be a period of significant growth for OMANZ and the out-of-home industry with many key initiatives planned at a sector level, to ensure our medium remains relevant to advertisers and our agency partners.

“We are focused on broadening the membership of OMANZ and working collaboratively as a group to develop a world leading industry body,” Vile said.

“Current initiatives include strategic planning, development of a singular approach to audience measurement , ongoing effectiveness research and consumer insight projects, plus working closely with councils and government agencies to develop transparency in regulatory processes.


“Having NZ’s oldest independent billboard company on board is a positive step forward.”

“With the many challenges and opportunities ahead , it is vitally important for OMANZ to be supported by a wide breadth of out-of-home vendors and be truly representative of the sector in New Zealand.

Duncan Harris, Ad-Vantage’s owner/operator said: “We’re excited about joining and being involved. With the many projects OMANZ has in place, and planned for the future, the more of us contributing to the overall growth of the industry, the better.”
