One Show Gold

AUCKLAND, Thursday: Colenso BBDO comms director Joe Carter writes: “Hey, Ed – just an update on your story about The One Show …

“Colenso won a Gold in Use of Music for DB Export Extra Low Carb I’m Drinking It For You – the only NZ agency to win a Gold.

“We also won nine Merits (not four) for work across BNZ, Spark, DB, Pedigree and Puppo.”

The One Show Gold will sit nicely on the wall alongside the gong the agency won last month at the New York Festivals, where I’m Drinking It For You picked up a Gold Tower for Best Original Music in the Branded Content/Entertainment category.

“The slow, heartrending blues was written by Colenso CD Thomas Darlow.”

The slow, heartrending blues was written by Colenso CD Thomas Darlow, and performed by Peter Van der Fluit, a founding member of Kiwi post-punk band the Screaming Meemees.

Sound design was by Liquid Studios and Craig Matuschka, and the music was produced by Tamara O’Neill.

Flawed release
Yesterday’s omissions are regretted, Joe. But the problem lay with a flawed release from New York.
