AUCKLAND, Yesterday: Paddy Gower is hitting the road for a 14-centre national tour across New Zealand this November and December. He’s bringing his unique style, humour, and insights to audiences everywhere.
Fresh off a new job and with a book under his belt, Paddy’s The F#$%ing News – Paddy Gower Live on Tour kicks off at the South Seas Hotel in Oban, Stewart Island, and wraps up at Te Whare Rūnanga in Waitangi.
Along the way, he’ll visit both big and small venues, like the TSB Showplace in New Plymouth and the Regent Theatre in Greymouth.
Paddy explains, “I am on a mission to help connect New Zealand and part of that means going to see everybody. This will be a mix of journalism, stand-up comedy and motivational speaking. To the best of my knowledge, nobody has ever done anything like this before.”

The F#$%ing News – Paddy Gower Live on Tour is part of Paddy’s journey into “positive journalism,” alongside his new show on Stuff and his book This Is The F#$%ing News, releasing on Tuesday, September 24.
Paddy says, “I think we are in desperate need of some positive vibes right now. And there is nothing more positive than going out and seeing Kiwis in the regions. That always gives me a boost, and I am going to give them a boost too by showing them their local issues are important.”
Paddy will be driving around in his electric Toyota bZ4X, stopping in each community to discuss local issues and highlight local heroes. And don’t worry—nothing is off-limits in the Q&A sessions!
