Tourism NZ broke new ground this week when it unveiled a global partnership with Facebook aimed at bringing more visitors to NZ. The idea had its genesis at Auckland shop Symphony, which describes itself as a script-to-screen production agency. Here’s their story:

Spikes unveils more juries
Two senior film company creatives from this part of the world have got the nod as more category juries were released overnight by the Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity, which this year takes place in September. Auckland-based Robber’s Dog Films director Adam Stevens will help judge the Film Craft entries, while Curious Films president Peter Grasse, a familiar face on both sides of the Tasman, has been named as Film Craft jury president.

In Q2 2015, Facebook revenue totalled US$4.04 billion, an increase of 39%, compared with $2.91 billion in the first quarter of 2014, according to figures released today by Facebook NZ.
