Mok: No plans for FCB brand to return to Oz
FCB has no plans to re-enter Australia or Hong Kong, FCB’s Auckland-based APAC ECD James Mok told Aussie website Mumbrella’s Robin Hicks as the Spikes Asia drew to a close in Singapore over the weekend.
Colenso wins Grand Prix in Singapore
Colenso BBDO took NZ’s only supreme category award at the Spikes Asia in Singapore over the weekend. Colenso’s win was a Grand Prix (effectively, the Spikes’ equivalent to Gold) in Radio for Mars Pedigree K9FM.

Auckland taps DDB and Spark PHD
Auckland Council has awarded its business to DDB and Spark PHD following a lengthy pitch which saw .99 and incumbent Ogilvy & Mather left on the sidelines. DDB’s role will be lead creative; Spark will handle media. The council has yet to appoint a digital agency.
Ogilvy buys top digital shop
Ogilvy Australia has bolstered its digital capability, acquiring STW-owned Bullseye, one of the region’s leading integrated digital marketing and technology services agency. The deal sees Ogilvy acquire 100% of Bullseye, which has more than 100 staff in offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Indonesia including an offshore production facility.
