AUCKLAND, Today: K Rd-based PR agency 818, which specialises in the entertainment sector, with is hosting an end-of-year party specifically designed for the creative & media communities. This event has nothing to do with the Mental Health Foundation’s Like Minds programme (as stated, incorrectly, in M+AD on Friday).

Here’s the item again (minus the Mental Health Foundation) … “If cafes are your office; if you’ve ever been left off a corporate Christmas-party list; or if your parents still don’t understand what you do; this end of year event is for you,” reckons 818’s Chris Henry.

The event will be held on Thursday 21 November at the home of Ponsonby Rd film & tvc producer Studio 230.

“From 5pm at Studio 230, there’ll be booze trucks and food trucks parked up and ready to serve.”

Chris Henry: “Whether you come from lunch or afternoon drinks, from 5pm at Studio 230, there’ll be booze trucks and food trucks parked up and ready to serve.

“An entertainment line-up including Soraya LaPread, Jamie Webster Haines and DJ Alisha of The Playlist Project will take you from first cheers to final drop, and the night will be rife with surprises.

“This is your chance to celebrate this year’s achievements with next year’s network.”
