AUCKLAND, Today: Pead PR has strengthened its services across content creation, social media and media relations to meet the marketing shifts in response to Covid-19.

Pead integrated strategy director Kelly Grindle said: “Throughout the lockdown period, the agency has announced new ways to produce content via a network of local and international freelancers – while supercharging its digital and social, government relations and media relations services.

“It is more important than ever for businesses and brands to be agile and flexible, and that the agency is fully equipped to support them with advice on how to adapt and the tools to implement these new approaches.

“Over the last few years, we have invested heavily in our digital and social capabilities, which has given us a strong position from which to assist brands at this time. We’re also creative specialists, so are well-equipped to advise businesses in how best to respond during this tricky period.”

“Across content, Pead PR is operating an in-house content studio, consisting of lighting, photography, videography, props and settings, designed to deliver essential content for social media, editorial, or digital outlets.

“Beyond in-house content, Pead will be offering more advanced content creation via a network of preferred freelancers, including a Sweden-based supplier able to produce higher-end videography content that includes people and outdoor settings.

“Despite the shift to digital and social, there’s still a place for traditional PR in a landscape such as this.”

“The agency appointed Devin Monajem as head of digital engagement in late 2019, and has invested in advanced tools including HypeAuditor; an influencer identification and verification service; SEMRush, an online SEO strategy tool; Google Ads and Google Analytics; and Facebook Ads Manager; resulting in a robust social media service suite.

“We’ve seen an acceleration of social and digital services for many years and this global crisis has underscored their importance. Once the immediate impact is over, we believe social and digital will still be high on the agenda – it’s going to be our new normal..

“Despite the shift to digital and social media, there is still a place for traditional PR in a landscape such as this, depending on the client and their story.

“Though the media landscape has shifted in response to Covid-19, with the situation impacting the way news is produced – such as restrictions on face-to-face interviews and a saturated news cycle, we can provide strong senior counsel and guidance on the appropriateness of sharing news, and how to package news in the face of this epidemic.”

“Beyond traditional media relations, Pead also offers government relations, and can assist with defining organisational issues, identifying legislative champions and assisting in outreach to government officials.

“Pead’s in-house government relations specialist has been working around the clock to updates on the ever-evolving of Covid-19 and the implications it has for their business.
