AUCKLAND, Today: Motion Sickness is building on an impressive 2024, winning Pizza Hut New Zealand’s agency of record after a competitive pitch.
Pizza Hut was drawn to Motion Sickness’ innovative approach and proven success in growing brands across New Zealand. Clark Wilson, Marketing Director at Restaurant Brands said, “Motion Sickness attracted us because they have such a strong track record of breakthrough and creative campaigns in New Zealand.
“They always have their finger on the pulse of both culture and creative best practice and we are looking forward to partnering with them on the Pizza Hut brand going forward.”

The agency kicks off the partnership with Don’t Sleep On It, a cheeky campaign for Cheesy Bites™. The ad warns that indulging may lead to a strange side effect—so-called cheese dreams.
The launch stirred intrigue, with influencers fuelling an online conspiracy before rolling out across TV, OOH, print, and in-store.
The win adds to Motion Sickness’ streak of new clients and industry recognition. Alex McManus, GM, shared what this appointment means for the agency.
“The opportunity for Motion Sickness to partner with a global name like Pizza Hut is incredibly exciting and something we really value – I think it highlights the direction this talented team is heading after such a big year prior. From the first meeting I think it was clear we would work well together.”
