AUCKLAND, Saturday: ICG Media – owner of marketing site Stop Press – has ceased production of the print edition of Idealog magazine. The title will now focus on its digital site.

Founded in 2006, Idealog was created to cover the field of businesses and entrepreneurs.

ICG ceo Marcus Hawkins-Adams said: “Idealog’s digital arm will continue to cover the tech, design, innovation and start-up scenes alongside entrepreneurship, as well as New Zealand’s best business success stories.”

“We all love Idealog at ICG Media; unfortunately, the numbers just didn’t stack up.”

The decision to pull print was made by management following the departure of its last editor, Elly Strang.

“We all love Idealog at ICG Media; unfortunately, the numbers just didn’t stack up and were taking a disproportionate amount of effort to returns.

“We will be looking at developing another couple of titles which will utilise some of the great content that has been produced over the years.”
