
AUCKLAND, Today: PRINZ has revealed the 50 finalists heading to the spotlight at this year’s 51st annual PRINZ Awards, celebrating standout work in Aotearoa’s comms industry.
The awards honour excellence in public relations and communications, with categories covering everything from Corporate PR to Internal Comms and Best Use of Digital and Social Media.
Finalists were selected after a rigorous judging process by professionals across Aotearoa and abroad, led by co-chief judges Nikki Wright FPRINZ APR and returning Andrew Pirie FPRINZ.
Wright said, “It’s been a privilege to serve as co-chief judge in a year where economic pressures have sharpened the focus on PR.
“It’s clear the profession is playing a critical role in building trust, navigating complexity and delivering impact amid global uncertainty. The calibre of work this year shows real promise for the future of our industry.”

Pirie added, “At a time when people’s trust in business and institutions is being challenged more than ever, the skills of public relations practitioners are vitally important in ensuring communication campaigns have integrity and authenticity and achieve powerful outcomes.
“The broad range of entries across this year’s categories showcases the expertise of PRINZ members working in-house or at agencies across the country.”
Gold award winners will be in the running for the Supreme Award, which will be announced at the PRINZ Awards Gala Dinner at Auckland’s JW Marriott on Wednesday 28th May.
