QMS Media NZ is backing next year’s World Masters Games as the official outdoor media partner. For the first time since they began in 1985, the Games are to be held in New Zealand with the world’s largest multi-sport event taking place across 48 venues throughout Auckland and Waikato.
Held every four years, World Masters Games is the pinnacle sporting event for masters’ athletes worldwide. The Games are open to anyone (as long as they meet minimum age requirements) with 28 sports involving 45 disciplines.
The Masters are run over 10 days in April next year and QMS NZ can’t wait to be involved.
QMS NZ Director of Group Strategy, Chris Monaghan says QMS NZ is very proud to be an official media partner of World Masters Games 2017. “To host a truly global event of this size it takes a dedicated and skilful group of people. QMS NZ would like to acknowledge the hard working team at WMG2017 and we look forward to working together to do our part to help deliver an amazing WMG17.”
WMG2017 Chief Executive, Jennah Wootten believes QMS’ outdoor marketing expertise has already added value to the Games campaign to recruit 25,000 athletes, saying “We’re delighted to have QMS on board and we look forward to working with them on some exciting activations in the outdoor and experiential marketing areas.”
