AUCKLAND, Today: New Zealand’s largest indie creative agency Stanley St has made four people redundant in the wake of Covid-19.
MD Greg Partington confirmed the redundancies to M+AD this morning – but made no further comment.
“The toll in NZ echoes the pain being felt globally by the ad/media sector.”
These bring to around 30 the number of people laid off by the major agencies (including Saatchi 4, Colenso 12, FCB & DDB (“single digit”).
M+AD’s has so far been unable to quantify a smaller number layoffs at several indie agencies.
