iHeartRadio NZ has signed Rhema Media to its digital streaming platform, giving iHeartRadio listeners access to Rhema, Life FM and Star.

NZME group strategy and operations director Carolyn Luey says the partnership with the Christian stations will complement iHeartRadio’s current offerings.

“Rhema Media produce quality radio content that is popular to a niche market,” she said. “iHeartRadio New Zealand has 300,000 registered users, and with 56% of those under the age of 35, Rhema, Life FM and Star content will be accessible to a younger technology-savvy audience.”

Rhema Media ceo Mike Brewer said: “We are delighted to be a part of the iHeartRadio offering. We want to keep our stations at the cutting edge of media delivery not only in New Zealand but across the world.”

Rhema, Star and Life FM promote Christian values and lifestyle. Life FM is a youth-oriented station, Rhema is family-centric, and Star plays Christian music.

iHeartRadio New Zealand has 20 million songs, 800,000 artists, and 1900 radio stations all in one free app, and over 300,000 registered users.

The Rhema Media stations are available now on iHeartRadio New Zealand by visiting www.iHeartRadio.co.nz.
