Two of New Zealand’s best young digital experts have been recognised in the Australasian Yahoo 2016 Digital Stars programme, now in its fifth year.
After a record number of entries, rising media stars Nureete Burnie (channel planner/buyer at Contagion) and Rob Kay (ZenithOptmedia activation manager) have won VIP access at the Mumbrella360 conference, a trip to Sydney, lunch with Yahoo ANZ ceo Ed Harrison, a networking dinner with senior Yahoo7 and Yahoo NZ executives and access to some of the keynote speakers at the conference.
The Digital Stars programme recognises the finest emerging talent in the New Zealand and Australian media industry, awarding winners with access to the region’s leading media communications minds.
“We are thrilled to see so much talent celebrated within the New Zealand media industry in this year’s Digital Stars programme,” said Yahoo NZ head of sales Arnaud Calonne.
“We are proud to foster the next generation of New Zealand media professionals, working with those who are proving themselves as industry leaders at such a young age. As a much smaller market, it’s also very exciting for us to see New Zealand entrants placing so highly among international talent.”
Australia produced eight winning entries.
