Former Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington GM Michael Rebelo has today been named as the Sydney-based NZ & Australia ceo for Publicis Communications, a position he will hold in conjunction with his present role as Sydney-based Saatchi NZ & Australia ceo. He has previously also been MD at Saatchi London for four years (to 2011).
Rebelo will report to Publicis Comms Singapore-based global chief operating officer Loris Nold, and will focus on driving transformation and ensuring that global and local clients are given full access to the Publicis Groupe’s expertise, talents and resources across Publicis Communications.
“I am thrilled with the appointment of Mike,” said Nold. “He’s a great leader, and thanks to him, our momentum is very strong in Australia and New Zealand. I am convinced that with him we will see great acceleration for the benefit of our clients.”
