Spark has confirmed rumours that it’s appointed Shine as its strategic agency (but not the above-the-line appointment hinted at in the rumours), and Colenso BBDO as its creative brand agency.
Saatchi & Saatchi was the incumbent on the creative side. Shine chose not to enter the pitch for the creative appointment. DDB was an unsuccessful pitcher.
Spark already works with other agencies – including Proximity, Touchcast and Dynamo, plus NZ digital start-up Mish Guru which was appointed recently to manage Spark’s burgeoning Snapchat community.
