Special Group has created a launch campaign for 2degrees official entry into the broadband market. The Brilliantly Simple Broadband campaign launches this week with digital, social, OOH, TV and print.
2degrees ceo Stewart Sherriff says it’s almost six years since 2degrees changed the way New Zealanders think about mobile and he says it intends to do the same with broadband.
“Kiwis have told us the broadband market is too complex,” he says. “There are so many different plans to choose from, it’s hard to navigate through the jargon and actually work out what is right for them.
“They have also told us they want a reliable connection, quality customer service and, most importantly, simple pricing and plans. From today, we deliver just that and make the choice and process simple for our customers.”
2degrees is offering two very simple plans – 80Gb for $69 and an Unlimited plan for $89. New and existing 2degrees Pay Monthly mobile customers will also receive a $10 discount on a bundled package.
Special Group has brought to life this promise, with the help of director Taika Waititi, by breaking down the entire country into just two types of people.
Are you a cat person or a dog person? Are you a handshaker or a hugger? Do you prefer red wine or white? And when it comes to broadband – do you use the internet a bit? Or a lot?
Those who join 2degrees broadband will also get NEON free for six months.
Sherriff said the partnership with Sky NEON is a major coup for the company. “In a world where content is king, we’re excited to partner with Sky NEON, a premium content provider which will see our customers get unlimited access to a world of leading movies and TV on demand – and it’s all on us for the first six months.”
He said another key feature of 2degrees’ broadband is ‘best connection’. “We will always ensure customers are on the best possible connection to their home – even fibre, for no extra cost. And if a customer is already with 2degrees broadband and a better connection becomes available, we’ll let them know and offer them an update for free.”
