Special Group has created the 2degrees Data Hunt a competition to help client 2Degrees boost sign-ups. At stake is a huge stash of 200 million megabytes of free data, which has been planted all over New Zealand as part of the competition – all you have to do is find it!
To join the hunt, contestants just download the 2degrees Data Hunt app from Google Play or App Store, then register to play with their 2degrees mobile number. It’s free to download and play.
Once registered an interactive map will help them find over 1500 Data Spots scattered throughout the country, each with its own blue Data Pin that they can collect and spin to score free data.
They should keep an eye out for elusive Golden Pins. Golden Pins hold even larger data amounts, but customers will need to get to them quick as they don’t stick around for long.
All the free data collected will be loaded to the subscriber’s 2degrees account instantly.
