Special Group has retained the 2degrees business defending its turf in a pitch against unidentified Auckland agencies.
Special Group managing partner Michael Redwood and creative partner Tony Bradbourne, who described the outcome as “fantastic”, said the new arrangement effectively extends the three-year relationship with 2degrees would be extending its three-year partnership with the agency.
The pitch follows the appointment earlier this year of Roy Ong as chief marketing officer, replacing Malcolm Phillipps, who had been in the job since 2009.
The unidentified pitchers are said to include Saatchi, and Catmur & Friends (now owned by DAN).
