Stihl taps True

AUCKLAND, Today: Independent agency True has been appointed the brand agency for Stihl and Stihl Shop in New Zealand following a competitive pitch. 

Stihl managing director Jochen Speer says True were awarded the business on the strength of their creative and consumer insights. 

“We were very impressed by True’s strategic thinking, solid creative and in-depth understanding of the prevailing Kiwi cultural codes,” Speer said.


“The account had previously been held by DDB for 12 years.”

“Our ambition was to find an agency who would truly work alongside us in partnership.”

True ceo Matt Dickinson said the agency is absolutely thrilled to be working with a brand much loved by generations of Kiwis.

The account had previously been held by DDB Group for 12 years.

True’s appointment is effective immediately.
