Colenso BBDO/Proximity is ranked seventh in the 2014 Global Effie Effectiveness Index list of the world’s most effective agencies. The report also ranks Barnes, Catmur & Friends as the leading independent agency in Asia Pacific and #4 indie agency worldwide.
Barnes Catmur also features in the Global list (#40), as do DDB (#17), FCB (#50), and Clemenger BBDO (#80).
Colenso/Proximity is #3 on the APAC general agency list, DDB is #6, Barnes Catmur is #9, FCB #12, OPEN #47, OMD Wellington #62, .99 #63, Ikon #63,Ogilvy & Mather #81.
OPEN is also #32 on the Global Indie list.
BBDO Worldwide was #1 most effective agency network, WPP Group was the top holding group, Coca-Cola the #1 brand and Unilever the most effective marketer.
The 2014 Effie Effectiveness Index is derived from almost 3000 finalists and winning entries to Effie Award competitions worldwide between 14 June 2013 and 13 June 2014. The Index is constructed by converting every Effie award and finalist into points – 12 for a Grand Effie, eight for Gold, six for Silver, four for Bronze and two for a finalist (with contributing agencies receiving half these points).
