Auckland full-service agencies Terabyte and The Creative Shop have “joined forces” under the Terabyte banner, with The Creative Shop moving into the Terabyte offices in York St Parnell.
In a joint statement issued this morning, the agencies said: “The Creative Shop will continue, with the support of Terabyte, to provide exceptional value to existing and new customers.” It will now be known as ‘The Creative Shop, a Terabyte company’.
The “joining” (both parties have avoided terms like ‘merger’ and ‘buyout’) is effective from today.
The Creative Shop is a creative & digital agency with a focus on the small to medium market, offering a range of services including brand strategy, design, advertising, outdoor, online marketing and website design and build.
The Creative Shop director Melissa Slater will join the wider team as digital marketing director, and in addition to her Creative Shop role, will also focus on delivering “broader digital marketing experience and value” to Terabyte’s customers.
“This has been a significant year for Terabyte”, said ceo Damian Swaffield. “We continue to broaden our digital marketing profile and reputation and have been honoured to work with many new and existing customers on some ground breaking projects. The Creative Shop will add breadth and opportunity that will be exciting for all involved.”
Melissa Slater said: “We are really excited to become a part of the Terabyte family. This will allow us to extend Terabyte’s creative services offering into brand and graphic design, as well as providing small to medium sized digital builds.
“Terabyte are an awesome team with an enviable reputation in the marketplace. We look forward to creating some exciting work with their fantastic portfolio of clients.”
