The NZ Parliament website, built by Auckland digital agency Terabyte to provide information and updates to the public on behalf of Parliament, has been nominated for an award in the internet’s premium global awards show, the Webbys.

With 13,000 entries from 70 countries, this means that the NZ Parliament website has been selected as one of the five best in the world in the Government & Civil Innovation category and among the top 9% of all work entered in the Webby Awards.

“We continue to punch above our weight in terms of providing world class digital solutions for our clients,” said Terabyte ceo Damian Swaffield.” Our focus is on building solutions that deliver our clients’ communication goals – but winning international awards for the works helps us benchmark ourselves against the best of the rest.”

There are two potential awards available to Terabyte: the Webby Award, chosen by the Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, and The Webby People’s Voice Awards, chosen by the public.
