AUCKLAND, Today: M+AD has two tickets to give away (scroll down for the link) to tomorrow’s premiere of NZ independent film Soldiers Without Guns, narrated by Lucy Lawless.

“It’s really poignant timing with the events that have happened over the past few weeks and it shows that we have always been a peace-making country to our wider neighbours,” said the film’s marketing manager Chante Neblett.

Soldiers Without Guns tells a true, untold NZ story about Kiwi soldiers in an apoplectic civil war, armed only with the weapons of music, Maori culture, and aroha to create peace.”

The film features music from from Fat Freddy’s Drop, The Black Seeds, Trinity Roots, Anika Moa, Kora, Tomorrow People, Tiki Taane, Kramit and Matiu Te Huki.

It runs in cinemas nationwide from Thursday 18 April.
