Film Construction welcomes creative visionary Tobias Nathan

AUCKLAND, Today: Film Construction is excited to announce Tobias Nathan as a new Director. Known for inventive storytelling and visual sophistication, Nathan brings rich experience to Aotearoa’s advertising scene.

“Creatives want a director with a unique vision, and Tobias has this in spades,” says Belinda Bradley, Executive Producer at Film Construction. “His craft and storytelling are complemented by his imaginative shot-making.”

Originally from Los Angeles and now in Sydney, Nathan has made a mark in advertising. His campaigns for brands like Apple Music, Samsung, and Cadillac are memorable.

Nathan’s music videos for artists such as G-Eazy and Alessia Cara have over a billion views, showcasing his narrative skill and visual appeal.

His journalistic background adds depth to his work. His 2019 documentary short, “Breaking the Circle,” about female samba dancers in Brazil, received critical acclaim.

Currently, he is developing a feature film and TV series while working in Los Angeles, Sydney, and New Zealand. Nathan’s blend of journalism and stylish filmmaking brings a fresh voice to the New Zealand market.
