After fewer than 10 months in the role, Toby Talbot has resigned as managing partner of Assignment Auckland. Few details were available at press time, but Campaign Brief said Talbot is reported to be considering new opportunities – both in New Zealand and overseas.
Talbot joined Peter Biggs and Duster Andrew at Assignment in 2016. Before that he was a Cannes Lion-winning chief creative officer at DDB Sydney (2014-16). Previously, he spent a year as CCO at Whyin\TBWA Auckland.
But he first made his name for his turnaround of DDB Auckland back in 2011 before he was seconded to DDB London.
No news yet from Assignment on Talbot’s successor.
