AUCKLAND, Today: Following robust growth and demand, Attivo Group has officially structured its public relations service within the newly unveiled trans-Tasman agency brand – Tonic Communications.

Georgia Coleman, who became General Manager PR at Attivo in March last year, is at the helm of Tonic. The agency will concentrate on strategic consumer public relations, along with social media, influencer management, content, events, and activations across New Zealand and Australia.

Operating under its distinct brand, Tonic will continue its collaborative efforts with other Attivo Group agencies while carrying out work and projects for its own clientele. Headquartered in Auckland, the agency is set to deliver its expertise and services across both NZ and Australia.

Cam Murchison, CEO of Attivo Group, noted that the establishment of the PR functions under Tonic Communications follows the strong demand for Coleman’s strategic consumer communications approach throughout 2023, which subsequently led to numerous new business gains.

“We’ve already seen the market respond positively and clients benefit from the expertise provided by Georgia and her team, and are all excited to see these business solutions develop even further under the Tonic brand,” he remarked.

“It’s exciting to see Tonic come to fruition after a successful period of growth.”

Murchison highlighted the significance of offering clients a comprehensive array of strategic communications, especially in challenging market conditions, underscoring the group’s belief in the power of collaboration and the pursuit of new opportunities and capabilities outside of its existing client base.

Coleman, with her extensive experience in PR, creative, and advertising agencies in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK, brings a deep understanding of effective PR and communications within the broader marketing spectrum.

“It’s exciting to see Tonic come to fruition after a successful period of growth. Over the past 12 months, we’ve witnessed a significant demand from brands – particularly within Attivo’s agencies but also our own clients – seeking an integrated, omnichannel approach to their marketing strategies where PR is pivotal,” she said.

Coleman highlighted the crucial role of innovative communications for brand relevance. Tonic aims to create meaningful brand-audience connections, with its team acting as integrated marketers to align closely with client business goals.

The Tonic Communications team has experience across a variety of sectors, including FMCG, QSR, retail, hospitality, health, travel, automotive, finance, technology, and non-profit.
