NZ-based traceability company IDlocate has launched a traceability platform for start-up cosmetics brand New Zealand Secret.

“We worked closely with the NZS team to understand their story, their consumer and their market focus,” said IDlocate partner Simon Bell.

“This enabled us to customise our platform to create content and delivery that was matched to their product, their market and their consumer. Every box they pack carries a unique QR code and their consumers can verify its authenticity, the date it was packed, where the ingredients are sourced and read the product specific instructions.

“Consumers can find all this information and whether a product recall is active, simply by scanning the unique QR code on the packaging with their phone.”

NZ Secrets’ Norm Morgan said: “The team at IDlocate delivered exactly what we were looking for. Their approach made it easy for us, as we are a small team.

“The analytics dashboard and the bespoke code production interface they made for us gives us infinite flexibility and some amazing consumer insights.”
