AUCKLAND, Today: The doors open at 6.30pm for tonight’s sold-out media show, the Comms Council’s Beacon Awards (held in association with NZME). The show starts at 7.30pm.
The venue is Shed 10 at 89 Quay St (the only original building left on Queens Wharf).
Crowds are guaranteed, and parking options are limited – the nearest commercial carparks are the Downtown Park at 31 Customs St W, Britomart (88 Quay St), and the Viaduct carpark (Market Lane).
All three are close to the venue, but all three are also ultra-expensive – and there’s bound to be availability issues.
Best bet could well be Uber or a cab.
