Much as we admire Venutto’s work, we could never go along with his populist rhetoric about PR.

Venutto does these “pestering” professionals a disservice.

PR exponents can continue to rely on M+AD to get their stories out there. We love PR releases – you might say they’re the lifeblood of daily industry newsletters and websites like M+AD.

Of course, we rewrite them, remove the odd bit of bullshit, and add new facts – but at their best, the well-written PR release is a thing of journalistic beauty that sits perfectly alongside our regular news sources.
